I reached hotel Canel E Walter Venice by taking just 2 minutes from the Venice train station. I really loved the interiors of this accomodation and its romantic atmosphere. The best part was that as was a guest here, I could enjoy discounts at local restaurants. While staying in this establishment, I explored city mostly on foot.
The most striking thing that one would notice while walking around the city that every corner of the city possesses some masterpiece or the other. Most memorable was the trip to the St Mark's Square and the stroll along St. Mark's Basilica. I had booked a museum pass for myself during my stay in hotels Venetië. It was worth while buyinh it as I intended to visit Doge's Palace, Correr Museum, Jewish Ghetto of Venice, Peggy Guggenheim Museum and of course the famous Galleria dell'Accademia di Venezia.
Amazing was the walk along the Rialto Bridge and trip to the nearby Rialto Market. I found the area a bit expensive. In the neighbourhood I also found some good resturants. I would surely like to mention some Italian cuisine that I enjoyed while seeing the attractions in hotels Venice. Cuttlefish and its ink, which is one of the trademark food in Venice, can be best enjoyed in one of the eateries lined up near the Rialto Bridge. It can followed by some delicious pasta.
